Call #1 has been made

Alright, in the Year of Accountability, I have made my first call to the hotline for open mic night. It will take 6-8 of these phone calls to get a 2 minute set, and I will be checking out other stuff as well. I'm nervous as hell, but I might as well try something I love doing as opposed to wasting away in a cubicle. Don't worry, I won't quit any job until I have another one.
