Look, if you want riveting stuff right now, I'm not really in the mood to write it. My head is in a ton of other places. I haven't slept much, I'm worrying about a ton of stuff (yes, they do go hand in hand), and if I have to listen to one more person complain about something they did to themselves I may just go all Frank Castle on them. Enough is enough, people, it's time to start taking responsibility for your own actions.
Just some news to tide y'all over before I hit the ground running again:
The Black Friday Wal-Mart guy getting trampled to death. Anyone remember 'All the Presidents Men'? What did Deep Throat always say...."Follow the Money". That's all this is. A temp gets trampled by the worst that society has to offer and the family goes after Wal-Mart for lack of security, or my favorite, having such low prices that it caused 'Consumer Craze'. Are you kidding me? Really? This is the best a law firm could come up with? And why is the family going after Wal-Mart instead of, oh I don't know,...hmm, the people that trampled the guy? You know why don't you, good people reading this blog? The money. Who has it? Wal-Mart does. Of course, if I were Wal-Mart, I'd tell these folks to get bent. But that I'll help them get closure and find the criminals responsible for pushing him down and walking all over him. For the record, this happened in Long Island...and rumor has it most of them were from New Jersey. Take that for what it's worth. The people that started this whole thing are the lowest form of human. How could you knock a man down and not offer to help him up? I haven't seen the film, because the thought of it makes me ill. You took a 34 year old man from this earth for greed of material possessions, that's all this was. There is no nobility in this act. Wal-Mart needs to step up and do my version of the right thing. They aren't responsible for the actions of consumers, those consumers who trampled this man need to be held accountable. And there is yet another reason of why I shop online. Bunch of degenerates.
Like I stated above, this will be brief. Here's my next little article for you to read...feel safe if you live in this neighborhood? You shouldn't anyways, but I'd make sure I was strapped.
Next, in a little political fun, I have a question. Almost ever news source out in the public, sans Fox News and the internet, is left leaning. Newspapers, magazines, world and local news on TV, all left. Fox News puts on just as many liberals as they do conservatives (count them up some day, over a whole 24 hour span, and you'll be amazed), and I got called delusional. See, this is the problem with left-leaning people. It's not about facts, or principles, it's about feelings. I told the person who called me delusional that they might want to rethink that line of speech, as it's bound to get a not-so-good feeling type of reaction. Want to debate me, that's fine. But this isn't about your fucking feelings, it's about facts and principles. The only better way to illustrate this would be to have Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann blowing Obama on TV...sponsored by the National Endowment for Arts. Democrats want to kill free enterprise one more time. Don't believe me, that's fine...but you might or might not have heard of the Fairness Doctrine. If this gets in George Orwell will have pre-ambled the crap our society has become in '1984'.
Second to last thing for the night...Sean Avery. You heard what he said up in Calgary. I thought it was hysterical. I also thought the reaction by NHL commissioner Gary Bettman was hysterical, too. Different meaning, same word. You cannot govern speech. There, I said it. Avery was funny, crude, and was trying to get a rise out of someone. Why couldn't we see if he could back it up? Who wouldn't have loved to have seen the guy from Calgary trying to pummel Sean Avery for dissin' his woman? Gary Bettman suspending Avery for 'conduct detrimental to the game' shows me what a pussy he truly is. Gary, you're sport is about 6th most popular in the US right now, this brought it to the forefront, free advertising, and you won't even let the jackass get his clock cleaned for calling someone else's girl a ho? Pathetic.
Lastly, for all my liberal friends, I have a serious question. Why is, that not 4 hours after the election results were counted/called for the presidency, did I have to hear and read the following mantra : "He's your President, get on board, we can all be a part of this, don't complain and impede this."? Pardon me, but where the hell was this attitude for the last 8 years??? Whether you like him or not, approve of him or not, loathe him or not, I have a newsflash for you....George W. Bush was and still is your President. Imagine if he had received half of that support. Oh, and I'll 'get over it' however I damn well please. I was over it before the election happened. I hope, if he can legally be President, that Obama does a great job. But I'm also a grown-ass man, don't tell me what to do, especially since half of you are still trying to overturn an election from 8 years ago...how's that for 'getting over it'?
And the final bell goes to my Dad, who passed away a month ago. I'm not really ready to write up anything about him. I will tell you all this, I miss him a whole bunch.
