Just a real quick question for some folks out there....I see a lot of people quoting Doctor Martin Luther King on this the day that some celebrate (side note-I don't get the day off my employer, but I do celebrate the man and his ideals in my own way) especially with regard to Love being stronger than Hate.
My question is this--were you the same people yelling and hurling insults at folks that didn't agree with you politically? Say, you know, like last September, October and beginning of November? Maybe after what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School? Or what happened at the Aurora Century Movieplex?
Oh you are? You're a friggin' hypocrite. Now go look in the mirror, learn to love yourself, love your family and your neighbor, flaws and all. That's love, dummies, not when someone agrees with you all the livelong day.
We all have a lot to learn, but the crap I'm seeing all over the place today makes me want to vomit. Knock it off, and start being honest with yourselves and each other.
Happy MLK Day, I'll be the crotchety dude calling folks out. It's what I do...
