Pittsburgh @ Baltimore (-1 1/2): Is it my hatred for all things Ray Lewis? My lack of belief that Joe Flacco is anything more than higher end game mananger? Or could it be that the Stillers have the same defense and not much has changed on that team? Wait, it's that I have Ben Roethlisberger as my starting fantasy QB in all 4 leagues (no need to stop the Honesty Train now)-Pittsburgh
Detroit @ Tampa Bay (-1 1/2): While Lions DL looks like world beaters, their secondary sucks. Enter 3rd year Tampa QB Josh Freeman. Tampa, at home, in the humidity in week 1? Yes, please!-Tampa Bay
Atlanta (-1 1/2) @ Chicago: Seeing these 3 lines right off the bat tells me one thing and one thing only-Vegas doesn't know, either. Are the Bears acting like a shitty preseason team, or are they that horrible? Is Atlanta really going to air it out? I like this to be a shootout and for some weird things to happen.-Chicago
Buffalo @ Kansas City (-5 1/2): KC at home? Against Buffalo? Ok.-Kansas City
Indianapolis @ Houston (-9): Is Kerry Collins deep enough into the Colts playbook to matter? What will the Texans new D look like? Will Arian Foster play? Doesn't matter, right now, the Texans are the leader to win this division.-Houston
Philadelphia (-3 1/2) @ St. Louis: Philly has questions, huge questions, on the O-Line and on the linebacking crew. St. Louis may have more talent on offense than folks realize. I think new TE Lance Hendricks makes a loud intro.-St. Louis
Cincinnati @ Cleveland (-6 1/2): The battle of Ohio and Cincy is starting a rookie QB on the road. Being a Bengals fan has to suck. Cleveland has hopes in the form of a new offense led by 2nd yr QB Colt McCoy. In Colt I Trust.-Cleveland
Tennessee @ Jacksonville (-1 1/2): I must have missed something, is Luke McCown a good QB or something? Didn't the Titans just re-sign RB Chris Johnson?-Tennessee
NY Giants (-3) @ Washington: The G-Men are the walking wounded and have no secondary, add to it Eli Manning has been awful in the preseason, and they have O-Line issues. Washington has a great play caller, and that's about it. But it's a sneaky game, and emotions will be running high with 9/11 tributes.-Washington
Carolina @ Arizona (-6 1/2): Last time Panthers rookie QB Cam Newton was in Glendale, he was holding the BCS trophy. My things are about to change. Arizona will be unveiling new QB Kevin Kolb. This is a nice matchup for him.-Arizona
Seattle @ San Francisco (-5 1/2): I think we can call this the Ick Bowl. Just ugly teams, one with a new coach, the other with a new QB and O-Line. The line is too high.-Seattle
Minnesota @ San Diego (-8 1/2): Is this line too high, too? Nah. San Diego's offense is intact, as is their D, and Minnesota is missing their best defensive player, DT Kevin Williams, and is starting a new QB in Donovan McNabb.-San Diego
Dallas @ NY Jets (-6): Dallas starts a new O-Line. Not sure if that is the best idea against the vast blitz packages the Jets throw out. The Jets throw out nothing exciting on offense, but Dallas' secondary is all sorts of banged up.-NY Jets
New England (-6 1/2) @ Miami: my boys got a lot of turnovers last time they were down in Miami. I can't see that happening. I am thrilled that this game is at night, as it won't be AS humid as it could be. Miami will be better than folks think.-Miami
Oakland (-3) @ Denver: Oakland does one thing well that Denver doesn't do. The Raiders run the ball well and Denver can't stop the run. If Denver loads 8 in the box they have more than a chance.-Denver
Now let's roll the ball out there and see what happens. I'll be watching on my 55 inch LED!
