this is a minor cleanup....
Great job Rice University! Firing an officer for helping out officers in another jurisdiction. Brilliant. Like treating a paper cut with amputation.
Way to go Bay Area!! Nothing like letting departmental policy stop you from doing your job of saving lives. Anyone else seeing a pattern develop here? Add this to the environmental wackos who wouldn't let dead trees get cut down in Arizona leading to fires, and you can continue to see the liberal policy of 'do no harm' coming to fruition. Pat yourself on the back...oh, and don't mind the dead guy in the water right next to you, they couldn't figure out what jurisdiction he's in.
I'm on the job hunt again. Yes, I still have my job. I'm just bored beyond belief and very underutilized. Not a great feeling. Sometimes I feel like I'm stealing just sitting there staring at my phone and the computer screen. The life of a financial analyst is not a glamorous one, lemme tell ya.
Apartment hunting in Denver sucks, too. When did the price of apartments go thru the roof around here? It's not as bad as other places, I realize that, but you used to be able to get bargains out here. Right now I'm under the thumb of the market. I may have found something, but I will be hiring a 'locator' to help me out. Your eyes go cross looking at listings.
And finally, I agree with the last line in this-NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, shut up already. Quit pissing on fans and telling us that it's raining. I assure you, I'm not this stupid. And Aaron Schatz of Football Outsiders owns this debate-lock, stock and barrel.
