Now that's just plain weird

So I've spent the last 2 days finding roles that could be a good fit for me, and when filling out an online application, I've now twice come across where it asks me for my nickname. Anyone else find it odd that there is a potential phone call in the offing that someone you don't know could call you up by your nickname? I have like 8 nicknames, and I know whose voice belongs stating those names. And I know exactly what some of my friends would put down in that little box next to 'nickname', for example:

BooBoo KittyFuck
Don't call me that
Siggy
G$
My Friends call me Zeus
Bad Ass Mother Fucker
Hey Jay
Ends in -O
Earl
Richard
