Oh come on!

Did anyone find the contract that the front office of the Bruins signed with Lucifer last season? This team looks like a damn M*A*S*H* Unit (they're in danger of going from 1st overall in the conference to out of the playoffs, not cool!), and tonight they get to play Buffalo. Lucky them. It's not like the Sabres have a hot goalie....crap, nevermind. I want the B's to make the playoffs, if only so I don't have to watch any more interviews with Rangers head coach John Tortellina, Tortilla, oh who cares whatever that blowhard's name is. Every time I hear him I wonder how none of his guys has rifled a puck or 12 at him. As it stands right now the B's are a whopping 1 point ahead of NY. If they win tonight and the Rangers lose tomorrow night at home against Philly, it's pretty much a done deal. The Bruins need to show up tonight like it matters, like they are wounded and maybe taken lightly, get two quick goals and play smart. That's how to get out of Buffalo with points. Not bad for a dummy, huh?

Frozen Four is tonight, I'm going with Wisconsin and Miami...and it's on ESPN! 'Bout damn time.
Rarely do I agree with any official, but Joe West, feel free to starting calling balls and strikes if guys want to delay the game of baseball....maybe that will get them to stop adjusting and fidgeting. Is anyone else curious is someone with OCD freaks out watching a baseball game?

Oh, and to Red Sox fans....breathe, damn it! It was the beginning of the season. It's 3 games against the biggest payroll in the game. Relax. There is no need to freak out-as I'm sure is happening on talk radio right now. Allow me to sum up the 3 games:
Game 1-Beckett can't hit his spots, the offense comes back, NYY bullpen sucks.
Game 2-Too many walks to the NYY offense equals bad night. And an error, for shame. It happens, not the end of the world.Game 3-Youk gets hit, and in the next inning, newcomer John Lackey earns his new teammates trust by hitting Jeter in the arm, right where he was supposed to. Game went into extra innings, and Papelbon gave up a solo HR. And?What, that Big Papi can't hit right now? That he's starting off slow? 3 games, 1 RBI. The only thing I will concede on this is the bat speed. It is slowing down. Bound to happen once a player gets to a certain age and at bats. Just try and remember those numbers from 2003-2007, and clam up and see what happens by the end of the month. Hell, wait until tax day before jumping off the bandwagon.This means nothing. I really am not thrilled that MLB couldn't give us a week of buildup before this crap started, but they are whores to the almighty dollar, so that's what we get.

Last thing about baseball for today, I think we're all hoping this kid Jason Heyward isn't too good to be true. Who knows, maybe people in Atlanta will go to a baseball game this summer instead of dressing up like empty seats. Hope I'm not reaching on that one...

Here's hoping your old man whoops your ass in another lifetime-for simply allowing Nike to use a dead man's voice to make you seem like less of a sleazebag. I really don't care that he cheated on his wife, that's between them, but I'm tired of the corporate shills and the massive PR firms trying to plate this man back as the platinum standard when he just wants to bang whores and cheat on his wife. That's his deal. Thank goodness I don't idolize athletes anymore, or else I'd be really let down. Glad I kept my head buried in the sand.
