As always, here's my picks for tonight's games....
Butler vs. Syracuse
Do we really have to go over this again? I'm not picking against my boys, and for those that are worried what will happen without starting C Arinze Onuaku, please look at the 8:58 mark of the first half last Sunday against Gonzaga. Rick Jackson picked up his 3rd foul, they were up by 6. Something like a 15 point lead at the half...'nuff said. I'm begging for Butler to make this a running game, you have no idea.
Washington vs. West Virginia
It sucks that WVU lost their PG to a broken foot. That stated, they are still more talented, and the nation gets their intro to Josh Smith-clone, Devin Ebanks. Nation, Devin, Devin, Nation. He puts up a double-double tonight. Moutaineers, and maybe we get to see a Pittsnoggle T-shirt!
Xavier vs. Kansas State
I'm going against the chalk on this one, I'm taking Xavier. I think that KSU will try and speed things up, and while Xavier has spent most of the year being methodical, they have the athletes to run right along with the Wildcats. Yes, an upset is brewing.
Cornell vs. Kentucky
Cornell is a nice story, and I know there are those out there just waiting to see Kentucky lose...but it ain't happening tonight. Cornell plays it close in the first half, maybe even going into the locker room with the lead, but after halftime is all over, UK winning by 20.
That's all I got for now, time to get geared up for more resume sending....Happy Thursday!!
