Day 3-Tourney Time!

so yesterday's picks were, in a work, ick. 10-6 yesterday, wow, and to think I used to be good at this stuff. On to today's matchups:

St. Mary's vs. Villanova
I know everyone thinks Villanova can just shake off the rust from the previous game, but they won on gifts from the officiating crew. And I've seen them a few times, they don't rebound well. St. Mary's, on the other hand, rebounds real well, and won't be intimidated by a big conference school. St. Mary's in an upset, and don't be shocked if it's not close.

Murray St. vs. Butler
so how's your bracket looking? I don't know why, but for some reason I like Murray State in this one, I think they will run and run and run to victory.

Ohio vs. Tennessee
I know everyone will be on the Ohio bandwagon after beating Georgetown on Thursday, but I just can't. I see Tennessee just being better.

Northern Iowa vs. Kansas
This game will be close until midway thru the second half, then Kansas pulls away.

Old Dominion vs. Baylor
Baylor is too quick and too deep of a team, and ODU made it fun by beating Notre Dame, but their run is done. Baylor's zone defense will be too much.

Washington vs. New Mexico
People will be screaming for the huskies, but I think enough is enough, New Mexico wins a tough game. Who knows, maybe we'll get another buzzer beater.

BYU vs. Kansas State
no need for the shot clock in this game. The guard matchup will be very fun to watch, and I don't think BYU gets enough credit as a good team. But K-State is better, and they'll win.

Wake Forest vs. Kentucky
Wake is going to be a test for Kentucky. A very tough test. But in the end, John Wall is too much, and Kentucky wins by 5.
