In a word...blech

That's how bad I was with my picks yesterday. Well, I was correct about the margin of victory in the DU hockey, except they lost 4-2...oops. We'll call yesterday a mush day. I went 1-4. That's rare. But what can you do.

I wish my boys had shown up for the first 10 minutes last night, but I knew from the tip it was going to be one of those games. It happens. If I had to pick who will be in the finals for this tournament, I'd have to go with North Carolina and Louisville. They're just dominating teams. Of course, Louisville has had an easy path. Luck of the draw, it's just the way it goes sometimes.

As for today, here we go:

UConn vs. Missouri
I'd love for Missouri to win this, as I despise UConn with a passion. But I don't see it happening. UConn has a very good point guard in AJ Price and plenty of depth. I like this game to hit in the 90's, up and down the court, with UConn winning.

Pittsburgh vs. Villanova
A Big East matchup. I know everyone will say Villanova is hot, so they should win. Hold on here. Pitt was #1 in the country twice, and while they don't win pretty, they do win. My pick is that they advance to the Final Four tonight.

I'll be done with my puppy-sitting duties in a little bit, and I'll miss the little guys. But I'm looking forward to sleeping the whole night thru, if it's possible. I'm overtired, but I had fun.
