So this whole job hunt thing is going a bit slow. Mostly because of me. I could rant and rave like a lunatic and blame other people, but it's all on me. No one is supposed to look for a job for me. The onus falls on me, yet I continue to try to occupy my mind with frivolous crap like sports and girls. I'm 33, I think I need to let some crap go for at least a few days. On to the news....
In case you were curious, and I know that you are, it will be worse before it gets better. It has to. And this 'stimulus' package is a joke, and won't help. You read it here, and if you're as smart as I think you are, you've read it somewhere else, too.
Interesting take on how to take on a bully. Here's how I learned as a kid....sock him in the mouth. Instead of being on the defensive, be on offense. Maybe this is how the 'Fairness Doctrine' can be defeated. I say that if certain elected officials get their wish and do this, then my TV is going to blow up, because there's no way Keith Olbermann, Katie Couric and Brian Williams will be able to muzzle themselves.
For those that will claim Obama the Great is fantastic and preaching bipartisanship by potentially promoting Senator Judd Gregg, R-NH to the Secretary of Commerce cabinet position, let me call bullshit now, and forever. If Gregg accepts, the Governor can put a Democrat in his position, thus giving the D's in the Senate 60 seats, meaning they rule and there will be no fillibustering. All of this crappy stimulus and all the ills that will come with it will go straight thru. Didn't anyone read the 'Art of War'???
Think Tom Daschle would be allowed to dodge his taxes like this if he were a Republican? Me, neither. Google what he said about tax cheaters 10 years ago....guess it doesn't apply to him, huh?
Think I'm the only one that noticed how many penalties got called on the Arizona Cardinals last night? Not so much. Pretty pathetic now that it's been 24 hours.
I hope someone catches whomever is doing this and hangs them by their collective thumbs or some other appendage. Classless.
Back to the job hunt!
