it's an Update

So here's some updates for you---Got my first official rejection today. It came via email after less than 8 hours. It was a job out in Boston, just not experienced enough, apparently. I'm always amazed that some people can't spend 10 minutes to call and figure that out. Just by 2 pages of a resume. Oh well, on to the next.

Just a question that I've kind of been wondering...if Dick Cheney has been stuffing his pockets with all these war contracts, is it okay that Tom Daschle cheated on his taxes? I guess what I'm asking is what how come he calls it a mistake, but Cheney is considered a criminal? So does someone else.

Just in case anyone was curious, here's what could happen to unemployment if this 'stimulus' goes through. It's going to get a whole lot worse before it will get better.

RB Larry Johnson is already complaining that he wants out of KC...uh, Larry, you're a now old, damaged, bitchy RB with a huge contract. Who wants you? Better yet, you have a new GM who has yet to hire a new head coach, or make any other roster moves. Here's a nutty thought, why don't you wait it out until the draft you self-aggrandizing turd? You hit woman harder than you hit the hole. I guarantee you that if your new GM Scott Pioli can move you for a 3rd or 4th round pick, he'll help you pack. A little note to all NFL GM's...there is no need to spend a 1st round pick on the position of RB. Check the rosters, and you'll be amazed at who some of the fantastic RB's are. And a ton of them aren't drafted in the 1st round. Spend your draft money on Offensive and Defensive linemen. You're welcome.

My boys at the 'Cuse had to make it interesting tonight. I know it will say on the scoreboard that they beat West Virginia by 13, but it never really felt like it was over until the buzzer. They need to get healthy for the stretch run, and I think their starting center needs to sit out the next game or two...or when they have a week off next.

Duke got smoked tonight. I've never seen them this disjointed. They looked flustered the whole time I watched them, couldn't break a very good press, and got worked in every way possible. I hope for their sake that they just forget about this game.

Anyone else see Ray Allen nail the game-winner last night? Put him on the damn All-Star team already, this is ridiculous.
