So I know only a few people have asked me, "where the hell have you been?", so here's what I've been up to: I worked a temp gig for 8 days, and then it ended. My hands are finally all healed up, as this was the epitome of office-humpery. I was doing a ton of copying and filing, massive amounts of papercuts, for a construction company.
This blog will be relatively brief, as my computer is acting up a little bit, but I've got too many things tabbed up to shut it down at the moment. So this will be mostly political stuff, don't read it if you don't want, but be prepared for a Mothers Day blog later this week. I plan on writing something tomorrow for more of my type of stuff, definitely sports oriented.
Here goes:
we can call this guy 'Rick-ed Raw', right? Dude slow down, you're going to wear it out!
I've found someone else I enjoy reading, his name is Ellis Washington, he grew up when the city of Detroit was a bustling town....now if you've been to Detroit in the last few years (decades?), it's a Gawd-Awful place to visit. In a word, yuck. But Ellis is a very good writer, at least I think so, and here's what he'd do as Mayor of Detroit (there's some catching up you should do if you're interested in what has happened lately, and I'd be more than happy to do that for you if you so desire). Oh, and this is some of what he'd do as President, I'm totally inviting Ellis to my campaign in '12.
So, for all those that would like to go out and blame Big, Bad Oil for our rising gasoline prices here in the states, here's a real group of people that need to get looked at, our government. Or better yet, blame an environmentalist...another obnoxious group that thinks they know whats best for the rest of us. I'll do what I want, thanks.
Shocking, if you've been reading this for awhile, that's my reaction to this. Shocking!!! Who'd have thunk that American children are over-medicated? Who's going to help me write my 'Thank You' notes to the teachers union?
Now, as for Barack HusseinObama (yes, that's his name), this crap just keeps writing itself. I wouldn't want to be his campaign manager after tomorrows primaries in North Carolina and Indiana. In case you haven't heard, BHO has been hand in hand with a known terrorist. Charming, don't you think? I'm not sure who's worst, Obama being tied to a terrorist, or Shillary, who's been known to wield the same power as The Gestapo back in the day? Pick your poison, Dems. And has HusseinObama disowned Gramma yet?
On a slightly side note, Rush Limbaugh got some grief for stating that a riot would be a great thing when the DNC comes to Denver, which is where I live. Funny, I said there's going to be a riot if Shillary wins after the superdelegates vote for her after HusseinObama wins some popular votes....gee, that sounds an awful lot like the 2000 Presidential election, huh?
Is there anything worse than having people who are funded completely by something then turning it back into that same support system? And how come I've been talking about this for a good 5 years and only now is this even remotely coming out? Where's Pastor Wright on this issue? Whitey didn't create AIDS for the black community, but apparently putting up a Planned Parenthood near gun stores and liquor stores in the 'hood are cool. Someone needs to explain this one to me, it's as though Black America is fine with supporting its own genocide.
Please remember this the next time you hear one of our genius' on Capitol Hill tell you we need more government regulation. Everything they touch turns to crap. Find me one thing that they do well, please.
There are some Dads out there that do the damn thing, but some Einstein in TV-Land wants to start outing some fathers. Listen, if you're a true deadbeat Dad, I've got nothing for you, but I can't see how putting you out on Front St. really helps your kid(s). This crap is just wrong.
Now here's a great story, and a decent reason that if my comedic or political aspirations were to remotely come true, they'd die a fiery death. Of this, I am certain.
I got this from Buster Olney at ESPN, its a column from Mike Lupica. All I can say for anyone trying to go to the new Yankee Staduim, you should've started saving in 2001. Holy Crap those seats are beyond expensive, and quite insulting. Glad I saw the Sox play in the current digs way back in 1995. Damn! Oh, and something that's really creased me, it's when sports columnists throw in a political dig. Hey Lupica, you live in the land of one of the most taxed states in the Union, don't go blaming W for the retarded tax you pay on a pack of butts. Get a grip. The Yankees ticket prices have literally NOTHING to do with who is President. By the by, who's paying for the new staduim, isn't that the taxpayers?
That's all for now, I'll be more calm tomorrow to give a little preview of the Celtics and Cavs. I couldn't talk after Friday nights game, and was way TOO happy after yesterday's butt-kicking.
