Why is everyone hating on teams in Boston? Everywhere I've turned, someone has something nasty to say, even at the airport. Look, I get it, you don't like teams that get coverage and a lot of jabbering from the media....bad news, I'm just a guy wearing a hat!!! Leave me alone with your ideas of what needs to be done with MLB. I could care less. And after tonight, it won't be that big of a deal. Did you not see the fact that the Sox have only one pitcher that can go past 6 innings? No timely hitting, and Cleveland, to their credit, are hitting it where they ain't. As for the Pats, hate all you want, you've all asked for it. Bill Simmons has covered it quite well this week. All of those people making questioning statements about the 3 Super Bowl victories, this is your just desserts. The team doesn't just want to win, they want to dominate.
What the hell is with joe buck? In the pre-game, he's mentioning Aaron efffing Boone before the game, that it was on this date 4 years ago, like an anniversary. Hey jackass, we get it, you don't like the Red Sox. If you were any more biased, you'd be on NPR. I've been listening to you forever, and you never have anything good to say about the team that won the division for the first time in 9 years. You've got all these quips about Cleveland, Cleveland for crying out loud!!! The city that has been the butt of every joke known to mankind. I don't even care if the Sox don't win the ALCS right now, because I've made the decision to listen to the game here in Colorado on local AM radio....at least I know where they are coming from, and they may have some insight into the game that your nepotistic ass never would.
My trip out to the Bay Area was great. Only one day of awful weather. I got to see a great show on Saturday night, got to see a buddy from college, got to relax, and hung out with some family. All in all, one of the better things I've done recently.
More tomorrow, I'm tired.
