Was Jeremy Schaap on something today? I was watching ESPN, and the big topic of discussion was Joe Torre, and this guy was stuttering around like punch-drunk boxer. I'll be talking about him and the Yankees treatment of him tomorrow. In a word, pathetic.
In other news, when will people stop blaming computers for how crappy they do their job? Especially when I can see what you aren't doing! Case in point, this afternoon, I was at the grocery store, there were only 2 lanes open, including the "self check-out lines", which never work for me because I buy veggies and they never ring up correctly. So what happens? I'm asked to move to a lane that isn't lit up, with the cashier that has been there for 20 years and wishes she'd die. Fantastic....and I got to watch the 2 people behind me in my original line get thru, and then I have to swipe cards twice while getting the "stupid machine" crap.
So I spoke up, and told the woman, "I would have been out of here 5 minutes ago if I had just stayed where I was, thanks for blaming technology." This is why a person can be smart, but people are dumb....Moron!!!!
